I would like to share with you my new idea [social mood places] and I’ll give you some details about the story and the potential outlook.

What is the main idea of social mood places?

We all connect specific places with emotions “positive / negative”, so let’s bring this emotion to a “social mood places” on a map to share your mood with others.  I would offer categories of mood and specific tags to get better impression for a later mood map. Another idea is to capture impressions with a time stamp so that we can offer a mood slider from a “social mood place”. Let me give you an example, you plan to take the bus to travel to work, the bus is late and you are upset…with social mood place you can give your mood a stage…may other passengers are upset as well, the “social mood place” get the mood: upset, category: service, tags: Bus Line 66. On a next Day everything is fine and your mood is: happy, category: service, tags: Bus Line 66. Over a couple of weeks you could see the mood history over a slider.

Who are the target groups?

The Target Groups are Service Provider to get “Live” Data about Customer Feedbacks to optimize their services or to get in touch with the people to offer compensation or a Feedback why the service could not delivered for this time.
May it could also interesting for retailers to get “live” Data about customer satisfaction for their shops to optimize their services (more personal for specific consulting than long cash box lines) or to give customers specific coupons as compensation or for valuable feedback (customer could give hints for a better service).

What is the benefit of social mood places?

You could get “live” data  and feedbacks to optimize your services or to get an impression what kind of sensible service focused by the customers to find the right priority.
I guess if you take care of the “social mood place” you’ll get more trust and customer satisfaction due the fact that you’re interested in the customer feedback to make the customer world more pleasant.

What about Outlook & Potentials?

Could you imagine we would have city guide “social mood maps” for services, so I would prefer places where people have a good feeling, so every city should have a “social mood map”

    what might be the motivation for customers to give feedbacks beside coupons or other incentives?

      Hi Karsten, i guess one of the biggest motivation is “attention for my current condition” to get this feeling “i’m not alone or a legend:-)” somebody is listen and understand my personal situation and offer me the right “answers” or change something in a right way.
